Despite the THRILLING ending between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, the one thing people couldn't stop talking about had NOTHING to do with the game!
It was all about Lebron James and his headband!
Late in the game, King James lost his signature headgear after driving hard to the hoop. But instead of throwing it back on, he ditched the sweaty band and not only did he play better, but he ended up leading his team to a crucial overtime victory!
So now the question is, will he be headband-less once again for Game 7?
"I'll probably start off with it, man. I'm a little superstitious. If it gets knocked off, then me and him will have a discussion if he will return."
We basically learned two things here: Lebron talks to his headband, and it's a boy!! LOLz!
All silliness aside, it IS a bit strange to hear he'll be reuniting with his headgear for tonight's game, because as he pointed out, most athletes are VERY superstitious!
Seriously, if a player thinks they did well one night because they didn't shower, it might be weeks before they ever bathe again!
We'll see if Lebron's trusty sidekick brings him any luck tonight, but don't be surprised if he ditches the headband again if things start to slip away!
