Aaron Hernandez is currently under investigation for his possible connection to a homicide that took place about a mile away from his home in North Attleborough, Massachusetts, and the victim's family is finally speaking out!
27 year-old Odin Lloyd's body was found in an industrial park on Monday and police determined that he died after suffering a gunshot wound to the back of the head.
A warrant has been prepared for Aaron's arrest for tampering with evidence, however there is no concrete evidence yet tying him directly to the murder.
Lloyd's mother Ursula Ward is hoping they get some answers soon:
"I want the person that killed my son to be brought to justice. That's my first-born child, my only boy child, and they took him away from me. … I wouldn't trade him for all the money in the world. And if money could bring him back I would give this house up to bring my son back. Nothing can bring my son back."
His family acknowledged that he was in a relationship with the sister of Aaron's girlfriend and the two were very close. In fact, they were reportedly together the same night of Lloyd's murder.
Hopefully his family gets more info once police are able to track down Aaron and ask him some questions.
In the meantime, we send all of our positive thoughts to them at this incredibly difficult time.
