Paula Deen Apologizes For Using Racial Slurs! Watch HERE!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooFoodPaula Deen

Paula Deen's image has taken a HUGE hit over the past few days after she came forward and admitted to using the N-word and saying other racial jokes in her restaurant!

But don't worry guys! She's REALLY sorry about it!

The butter-loving cook recently released a statement in response to all of the criticism she's been getting, and not only does she apologize for her remarks, but she LITERALLY begs for forgiveness!

For some reason, she eventually took the video down, but at least she's trying, right??

Check out some clips from the apology for yourself, y'all (above)!

Why is it okay for black ppl to say and rap the n word. Paula I am sure meant no harm when she said it.

Re: maryjojio – not all black people approve of using the N word. In fact most of us don't like the word at all its disgusting and should never be used by anyone of any race ever. And you don't just say a word like that not mean anything by it all maybe she didn't mean to come across as racist but she new what she was doing when she said that word this woman is from southern GA she is not stupid.

I had a black man call me a stupid white bitch in the store the other day because I made the mistake of stopping in front of him instead of running into a lady in front of me, no one apologized to me, so I don't see why blacks expect whites to apologize for anything, after all there is not one black person in this country that can say they are a victim of slavery.

What's the diffrence between a park bench and a black man? The Bench can support a family.

I might believe she meant no harm had she not been telling jokes in bad taste and asking her black workers to pretend they were slaves for parties…. and I'm going to follow your question with a question. why do white people want to use it? I'm white I have no desire to use it. I have no use for it! In what situation are white people so eager to use this word in?

  7. 7

And if she'd called a gay guy a pheggott, would you be so understanding, homo? No. You'd be up in arms, demanding her head, calling her a bigot and a hater. I personally don't care who uses the N-word; every time I hear some darkie whine about how a white person using that word brings up "bad memories" of slavery I howl with laughter. There isn't one darkie in America today who was even ALIVE during slavery, and so there can be no memories. At some point in history EVERY race has been enslaved, so it's time for the blacks to STFU, get jobs, and stop being sensitive jerks. If Deen uses the word, more power to her.

This is a stupid witch hunt where the fired employee is playing the race card to trash Paula Deen. When your case has little substance (ie if you suck as an employee) when all else fails, play the race card!

@ghound how is the employee playing the race card when paula deen admitted that she did in fact do what she was accused of?

That heffer should be apologizing for putting all the butter in her recipes to make people fat like her.

Ok. Let's get down to absolute truth here. The "two roads, but only one counts."

We have BET Network. (Black Entertainment). We have ("Meet Black People.com)

So you honest Blacks out there tell me this. If we had (WET Network. White entertainment)

(Meet White People.com). Would you not call that racist. You see the road you have plowed to make equal rights, you shut down one side so only you have the right.. Wow. You're not hypocritical at all.

I don't know why americans make such a huge deal about the N word …. they do the same with mexicans with al the "cinco de mayo" and "taco bell" etc… people just need to chill and take it easy.

  14. 14

This is the result of her misguided attempts to be loyal to her goofy and unpleasant brother.(Does every famous Southerner have one, all set to bring them down?) Having said that, she handled parts of this (misguided interview plan, then canceling) badly. I'm sorry for her.

    Re: DaVinci

Exactly!! And then there is the war on white men. Don't get me going on that.

  16. 16

Re: DaVinci – BET doesnt exclude white people from watching there shows… they also dont kill white people for being white. Last time I checked the KKKused to exclude, denounce and KILL black people, they were ones that came up with lynching. Also whites never had to deal jim crow laws and segregation, so BIG difference. you people talking about double standard. BIG ASS SMH!!!

Re: Mar – The n word is different, it has a very damaging history and should just not be said by anybody. period. these rappers just want to be controversial and attract attention. its not about we can say and other ppl cant. just for attention.

in the 60's blacks were called negroes not black or african american. shame on Food network. all those freaks they have working there and they fire the old girl.

just because today's african-americans havent been enslaved does not mean that they dont suffer from it. its a well-known idea called historical trauma.

    Re: Kristy

Sad thing is it shows your lack of knowledge in history. It is easy for you to walk around and say blacks are not affected by slavery yet the fact remains white people benefit from the products of slavery and jim crow in more ways then they themselves know. The sad thing is you don't have enough initiative to truly learn history.

You have white entertainment television. Just look at every major motion picture, look at every major magazine in the supermarket, look at top models….. then come back an tell me what you see.

Re: maryjojio – No Maryjojo it's not okay. Many, many black people cannot stand the word and cringe when certain black people use it.

It's a word that demeans and there is NEVER a time when a nonblack person uses it where it doesn't have that intent. Paula Deen is a bigot. Her actions in her businesses have shown her to support white supremacy and patriarchy.
She can be chatty to her "black" rich female friends and still mistreat her black AND white female employees.
And honestly, her food recipes are DANGEROUS and contribute to the obesity problem in the US.

  25. Hanna says – reply to this

    25

I think what she said is inappropriate, because of the time she is from. She is more connected to that time, because she was around during segregation, and Jim Crow laws. She was around when that word was only used in a derogatory way, so for her to say it now, speaks to her acceptance, and in some ways her longing to go back to that time frame. It is important to remember that history is cyclical, and accepting this behavior shortens the time frame that this type of thing will happen again with another group.

Re: Kristy – I feel bad about what happened to you, and you deserve an apology. Just because you didn't get one doesn't diminish the fact that it was wrong. I would say the same thing about what Paula Dean. If there was no penalty to not apologizing she wouldn't have, so in your example you would prefer that everyone is awful vs expecting more from people… I would choose the former, vs the latter.

Deen admitted to using the word. It's not a witch hunt. I never did and never will watch her show. Sad that such an old, grow woman needs to use such hateful words and have such horrible things to say about people. Shame on her. She needs to be taught about love and respect.
