It looks like we have a classic case of 'he said he said!'
Former NBA superstar Scottie Pippen had a little bit of explaining to do after an altercation sent a fan to the hospital!
The Chicago Bull legend said the man approached him and his girlfriend at Nobu restaurant and repeatedly pestered him for an autograph, and when Scottie turned him down, the man became agitated and spit at him and used the N-word!
Well now the victim is speaking out and saying that none of that is true!
The man admits that he approached the basketballer more then once asking for a picture and explained it was for his son. But he says that it was Scottie that lost his temper!
According to his side of the story, he asked for a picture one last time in the parking lot when he completely lost his cool and spit on him before punching him in the face! The victim fell to the ground and says the last thing he remembers is Scottie's super-sized shoe flying into his face!
He spoke out about the incident, saying:
"It’s sad to see Scottie is trashing me. I never called him the N word, and I haven’t done anything to that guy … What’s the big deal? Taking one picture with a fan."
We have a hard time believing Scottie would attack someone completely unprovoked, but the victim DID sustain some serious injuries!
He says he has no plans to pursue legal action and just wants to focus on recovering at the moment!
Some of the details of both stories match up, but the real question is who started it? Only time will tell!
