When it comes to money, people will do anything to get it, even if it means looking like a bozo.
Alex Rodriguez is possibly in BIG trouble with MLB over buying performance enhancing drugs, or PEDs, from the Miami clinic Biogenesis, and the man with the info wants more than his fair share.
Ex-employee Porter Fischer met with MLB on Tuesday about the information, but he didn’t give the league the documents they wanted because he wants at least $1 million in return!
Actually, in the scope of how HUGE this situation is, that’s not a ton of money. We’re pretty sure A-Rod carries that in his wallet.
The price tag seems especially low when you consider that the papers expose the drugs purchased of over 100 MLB players, which also includes Ryan Braun.
Fischer’s lawyer said that they’ve talked compensation with MLB, and have set up another future meeting.
Well, at least this will give A-Rod more time to get healthy and maybe play a few games for the New York Yankees.
