um.. yeah we doing appreciate him touching the effing cup. First of all he stepped on the logo, which you are NEVER suppose to do, and then he touches it which is something the people who earned the trophy can do..which he clearly had no part in.. he can go back to rooting for Boston and leave Chicago alone.

Lock him in a dressing room with some angry hockey players and watch them use Beaver as a puck.

Re: BostonChick – Typical American attitude. 'Some lame ass Canadian team' you say… you guys are all about yourselves, but guess what… how many Canadians stepped up to help with Boston when the marathon was interrupted and citizens hurt. I guess that is the difference between the two countries. Canadians are peace keepers who just want to help, while far too many Americans are self absorbed, pompous asses.

I don't think fans, like myself, are just pissed because he touched the cup. HE STOOD ON THE LOGO! You do NOT do that! That little fucker doesn't know what he has done! THAT is mainly why fans are pissed off. Also just becasue he is Justin Bieber that he gets to touch beloved Lord Stanley? He's not even a fucking fan of the Hawks. So screw him for stepping on the logo. That little shit.

Who the hell cares he touched a stupid cup. Is it sacred like the Ark of the Covenant? Is it worth more than a person? fuck Canada and all hockey teams. Everything he does is a big deal. Do you think it has never been touched before? It appeared from Heaven?

Justin Bieber is a Canadian who has played hockey since he was a kid and even played on a hockey team as a child, as well as being an avid hockey fan since he was kid. He has every right given the opportunity to be photographed holding the cup. I find it hilarious American hockey fans spewing about a Canadian sport and the Stanley Cup which was originally awarded to Canada not the U.S. A Canadian who has played hockey and is a hockey fan holding the Stanley Cup is considered normal here in Canada. As for the logo Chicago Blackhawks have allowed their logo to be put on dog dishes, so much for the respect for their logo. Why put the logo on a high traffic area in the first place. And one more thing, the Stanley Cup has been awarded to Canadian teams many times and Canadian fans have been allowed to touch and be photographed with it, so shut the hell up already Chicago.

Re: Hayley R. – You must be American. As a Canadian fan of the NHL, we Canadians have had opportunities to touch and be photographed with the Stanley Cup in many cities. We even have Stanley Cup parades when a Canadian team wins it. We place a lot more value on the Stanley Cup and have more respect for it than Americans. A Canadian hockey player who is a avid NHL fan which Justin Bieber is has the same right as anyone of us to touch or be photographed with it. Canadian NHL fans are not upset with him, only you American fans are.
