Twinkies Make Triumphant EARLY Return!!

hostess twinkies walmart snack early debut

Walmart, while not our favorite company on the planet, is planning to go the best kind of rogue this weekend… and start selling Twinkies days before they are supposed to!

Hostess has said it has asked the retailer to wait until Monday, but Walmart just laughed and announced that the cakes were available at about 1,600 stores, and that about 3,000 of its 4,000 U.S. stores should have them by Sunday morning!

HELL YEAH!

Here's what Hostess said:

"Hostess has not, and is not, giving any particular retailer exclusivity or preference to have products first and is making a great effort to fulfill orders equally and timely to everyone."

There's more good news, too! Walmart says its stores will also have Hostess Mini Muffins and fried Fruit Pies by late next week, with Coffee Cakes, Ho Hos, Orange CupCakes, Suzy Qs and Zingers available by August. Sno-Balls will arrive in the fall, because it'll be the right kind of weather for that roll-out! LOLz!

While nobody should binge on them, Twinkies are a part of history! We're glad to see them back as iconic, special treats!

Still won't step foot in a Wal mart to get them, again they will do anything to get the money.

Yay for Walmart! You buy the exact same brands as other stores but you pay much less!

I'd rather spend less on household goods, cosmetics, pet foods, groceries, home decor, entertainment etc. so I can spend MORE money on trips, getting my hair done, pedicures/manicures, Dining at nice restaurants, nice cars and nice furniture for our home. Walmart lets me do exactly that. I save money and live better! (they should pay me for this endorsement but it's true. If you don't like it, shop some place else and spend more of your hard-earned money on stuff that isn't important.)
