Someone has clearly been hanging out with Paula Deen.
Riley Cooper, of the Philadelphia Eagles, was caught on video at a Kenny Chesney concert pointing off screen and saying:
“I will jump that fence and fight every n****r here, bro.”
And what’s worse, moments later he got to join some fellow teammates and coach Chip Kelly on stage.
Well, since the video has gone viral, Cooper expressed his sorrow, saying:
"I am so ashamed and disgusted with myself. I want to apologize. I have been offensive. I have apologized to my coach, to Jeffrey Lurie, to Howie Roseman and to my teammates. I owe an apology to the fans and to this community. I am so ashamed, but there are no excuses. What I did was wrong and I will accept the consequences."
At least he fully owned up to it! That’s something.
But we're baffled that people still say this horrible word.
Just stop it already!
It’s hard to get the angry image or Riley out of our minds, but you can check it out AFTER THE JUMP!
