This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

To say the Los Angeles Lakers underachieved last season would be a HUGE understatement, and one person who hasn't been afraid to hide his frustration is basketball legend Magic Johnson!
The Hall of Fame point guard had been very vocal about his disappointment in his former team all season long. He recently sat down for an interview and talked a little bit about the upcoming season, and apparently he doesn't think it will be much better:
"It's going to be a tough season, especially with Kobe [Bryant] being out. I think for Coach [Mike] D'Antoni, he's going to be able to do the things he wants to do. That's run and gun and play at a fast pace. For the first time, the Lakers will be underdogs and under the radar. Let's see how they respond to that."
Yikes! That doesn't sound very good!
So just how bad does he think it will be? He went on to say:
"Are they a legitimate championship team? I don't think so. Are they a playoff team? I think they can be a playoff team if Kobe's back healthy."
We have to admit that it'd be pretty silly to think the Lakers will completely turn things around in one season, but that doesn't mean he has to be SOOO negative about it!
C'mon Magic! Show a little bit of faith in your team!!
