A sad and tragic loss for medicine has unraveled into a complete mystery — just why was an aspiring surgeon attending the University of Michigan medical school shot and killed?
A single gunshot wound ended Paul DeWolf's life in his bedroom in his off-campus frat house, and everyone he knew and loved is COMPLETELY stunned! This wasn't someone who was constantly getting mixed up in the wrong things, this was someone that people called the 'best person' they've ever known!
At 25, he was an aspiring surgeon, a marathon runner, an avid scuba diver, and his class's valedictorian. According to friends, he had no enemies, and nobody can think of a single person who didn't like him!
The school is still on alert, and more patrols have been added while the investigation continues. Nothing is locked down, but the fact that nothing was stolen, there was no murder weapon at the scene, and there are no suspects have resulted in school officials warning everyone to stay on alert!

We feel SO BAD for his family and friends, and all those lives he could've saved after becoming a surgeon! Such a waste of life!!
