Former President George W. Bush had a procedure done on his heart this morning at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas after a clogged artery was discovered during a physical!
Doctors performed an angioplasty to place a stent in his heart to help open up the artery and maintain regular blood flow.
Despite all of the scary, medical mumbo-jumbo, sources say President Bush is actually in very "high spirits" and is hoping to return home as soon as tomorrow!
That's good to hear!
There is also no history of heart disease in the Bush family, so hopefully there wont be any complications in the near future!
We're glad to hear President Bush is doing well, and hopefully he makes a full recovery soon!
