Can someone get control of the New York Jets? LOLz!
Joe McKnight, the team’s running back, was arrested in New Jersey for two outstanding warrants.
Luckily, they were for non-violent things like failing to pay a $200 fine for that one time he got pulled over and didn’t have an insurance card, and $120 for not observing a traffic signal.
The coppers took McKnight to the station where he was booked, and then paid a whopping $320 bail to get out.
And yes, your math is correct, that’s the same amount that the fines were for.
We’re glad it wasn’t something more serious because this NFL off-season has been eventful enough!
