She is one HAWWWT mama!
Shakira is the latest to grace the cover of SELF magazine’s September issue — set to hit stands August 20th — and we have to say, Gerard Pique is without a doubt one seriously lucky dude!
The Voice coach looks better than ever, having slimmed down post-pregnancy. But not without effort.
She dished on her workout secrets, telling SELF that she kept up her exercise routine whilst pregnant:
"I did Zumba throughout my pregnancy. That helped me not gain too much weight."
She then continued with Zumba creator Beto Perez after her little one’s arrival, averaging four to five training sessions a week!
Shakira, of course, paid some attention to those fantastic abs of hers, stating that “two minutes of ab work isn’t enough,” but it seems the star and humanitarian prefers another one of her ass-ets:
"I'm quite proud of my rear."
LOLz. She should be! Especially after suffering through 30 pliés!
Her strict diet had something to do with her svelte physique, too — what with her sticking to eight, 200-250-calorie meals a day, rich with protein, fiber, iron, and calcium.
That said, this lady knows exactly what counts:
"I don't obsess over my flaws, because I see my body as a whole. Besides, I think men appreciate confidence more than perfection."
That, in itself, is a perfect statement.
