Paula Deen's Husband Isn't Making Things Better For Her Case! Hits Up A Chick-Fil-A For Lunch!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooFast FoodPaula Deen

paula deen michael groover chick fil a fast food lawsuit equality racism scandal

Tsk tsk!

Michael Groover is Paula Deen's husband — who we heard has been pretty upset about everything going on with Paula, especially when she mentioned that HE was one of the people telling off-color jokes she's heard/repeated — so you can imagine, this is an odd sight.

You'd think he'd want to distance himself, his family, and his wife from anything that could be seen as not promoting equality!

But, maybe he was just having a weak moment and couldn't deny himself some Chick-fil-A!

The fast food chain, despite their best efforts to make strides in letting everyone be treated equal, is now pretty synonymous with their anti-LGBT stance!

So when Michael Groover hit one up for some food earlier today, people were wondering what in the world he could possibly be thinking??

We know that you can't really avoid your own cravings — and by all means even if it's pretty unhealthy, Chick-fil-A is known for great fried chicken! But there are those out there that still take major issues with their stance on equality!

If Deen and Co. want to distance themselves from any sort of discrimination, they might want think twice about choosing a restaurant that contributes to anti-LGBT groups!

Maybe he was thinking… I'm a christian and Chick-fil-a was started by a Christian family so why shouldn't I be able to eat here.

Can't you eat somewhere just because you like it? For goodness sake, this is the most ridiculous story I've seen reported on Perez in a while. If people have to start researching the political beliefs of every place they shop, the economy is really going to tank.

  3. 3

why shouldn't he go to a chick-fil-a? you homo's are get a little bit crazy with power. is there a homo approved fast food place to go to?

Re: shaygirl1309 – Did you really just use the word homo? Let's move out of the 80s…idiot.

I'm glad I live in America where I can eat wherever I want because I have the FREEDOM to do so…

If i were to boycott every place that has had a history of discrimiating against either race or sexual preference, I wouldn't own or eat a damn thing. Trying to stir the pot for the sake of stirring the pot. I would excitedly challenge you to send me every reciept for every purchase you make in a week just to show you how you how many of them have been brought into the public eye for these same reasons…

  8. 8

No one's thinking about that. I just had fries there the other day. Their lines are ALWAYS long. People just like the food. I forgot there was even an issue.

I went to Chick Fil A on Tuesday and the guy who waited on me was gay, so what? Chick Fil A does not promote racism or anything of the sort. Enough with the lies. The founder is a Christian and does not belive in gay marriage. Big whoop! The voters in California didn't vote for it either-so are they all intolerant? It is activist judges (usually gay) who want it. Perez, you really are an idiot. Did you even graduate from high school? Your parents should be embarrassed by you idiocy. It's a freaking chicken sandwich and a good one at that. Just go back to Hamburger Mary's. Oh wait, they don't want you there either.

You are so clearly an idiot. Chick filet is superior chicken, end of story. You are like hitler, or how they claim he was. Bet you'd like to brand people with ph tags, that don't jump through your hoops.

Maybe he wanted some chicken? I'm so over both of these stories. Chick Fil A may have anti-gay views but that's the beauty of America… YOU CAN BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU WANT. Just like I expect people to respect my pro-gay views I also return the courtesy and respect those who have different views than me! Besides, THEY MAKE CHICKEN. Who cares what their political views are (even though they never volunteered the information, they were asked by a reporter and they answered honestly.)

And how many times does Paula Deen have to apologize? What she said was horrible and she admits it. Crucifying her over and over again isn't going to make all racism go away. Perez got his second chance when he decided to stop being a bully, why can't Paula Deen? It's a little hypocritical, isn't it?

    12

Really Perezhilton? It is a Christian based business. "Thou shall not judge, lest ye be judged" Maybe he just wanted a good chicken sandwich?

    I love Chick-fil-A. YUM

  18. 18

i don't agree with their stance, but every store/restaurant/etc/ will have something people don't like about it. So that being said sooner or later n oone can shop anywhere. plus it was the creator of the franchise not all the workers or most managers. i mean everyon e is entitled to their opinion whether you agree or not. as long as the owner isn't going on a killing spree or attack spree like russia than i am ok

  19. 19

Whatever. Look at the guy. He looks hungry. Let him eat in peace.

Re: Melanie – Perez might've gotten a second chance when he announced he was turning over a new leaf, but the problem is that he stayed the same hateful, bullying, bitter, vengeful piece of shit he always was. In HIS case, he didn't deserve a second chance. In Deen's case, she does.

I don't get why a gay person can throw out his beliefs on homosexuality into the public eye with no problem, but the moment a heterosexual throws HIS beliefs on the subject, everyone goes crazy. Some people believe in it, some don't. Get over it!

  22. Child Please says – reply to this

Re: duh – Exactly! Just because you are a homosexual or believe in homosexuality doesn't mean that you can push your belief on me and force me to beleive the same as you.

  25. 25

I love Chick-Fil-A and just wish there was one closer to where I live (SoCal). All the ones here are in the shopping malls, and now I do most of my shopping online.

Honestly this really pisses me off! You can't just boycott Chick-Fil-A because they don't agree with your morals, especially when they have good food! Honestly, who cares what your beliefs are, but you are doing the exact same thing that you claim that Christians are doing, shunning people for their lifestyles or beliefs! Just get over yourself and let people eat where they want!

You'e a fucking idiot, spend more time raising that baby of yours and less time on petty shit like this.

  32. 32

Re: countvalek – EXACTLY!!! If everyone researched EVERY company they buy product from to see what their political/religious/moral beliefs are then nobody would end up buying from many companies. It's just not relevant. Sorry. I have supported gay rights for a long time, but at the same time, the CEO had a right to his opinions and to support whatever organizations he chooses - freedom of speech in action there people. Whether you like what people say or believe inor not - they have the right to speak and have an opinion even if you don't' agree with them. A concept my sister does not understand even as a lawyer since she has not spoken to me since I said he had a ritgh to his opinion even if we don't agree with it and she said "DISCRiMINATION"! and I said "as an atty you should know the difference between discrimination and freedom of speech! It would be competely different if the company refused to hire or serve LGBT individuals. It is food people, nothing to get THAT nutso over! Not everything is a political agenda.

  33. 33

Re: duh – CORRECT!!!! Someone's political/moral beliefs have nothing to do with the product they sell for the most part - at least in the food industry! Everyone has a right to their opinion. I don't give a damn if someone is gay or not I only care who they are as a person and how they treat people. Perez is a donkey's behind not because he is gay but because of his personality and his hypocrisy.

  34. 34

Not everyone is in love with gay marriage, moron.

and that fact that he's eating animals shows how unevolved a species he is. enough said.
