It doesn't sound like Alex Rodriguez will be making any friends anytime soon!
The New York Yankee slugger was recently slapped with one of the biggest suspensions in MLB history, but there were also 13 other players that also received bans due to their links to performance enhancing drugs and some are saying A-Rod ratted a few of them out!
Earlier this year, Miami New Times released documents that revealed Alex's ties to PEDs, but several other names were redacted. Well sources are now saying that A-Rod's camp got their hands on the un-redacted document and leaked it to Yahoo! Sports.
Some of the names on the paper were Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun as well as his Yankee teammate Francisco Cervelli, both of whom accepted their suspensions earlier this season.
A-Rod's lawyer David Cornwell spoke out about the new accusations and says they're a bunch of bull poop:
"The allegations are untrue and are another attempt to harm Alex — this time by driving a wedge between Alex and other players in the game. While Alex focuses on baseball and repeatedly states that he is going to respect the appeal process, the drumbeat of false allegations continues."
Looks like we have a good old fashioned game of he said, she said!!
A-Rod is still planning on going through with his appeal, but if these claims turn out to be true, it could be VERY damaging to his case!
The MLB Player's Association has already said they would stand behind Alex, so we'll just have to wait and see if these new revelations change their minds!
