After having his trial pushed back for nearly three months, Oscar Pistorius will return to court on Monday where he will officially be indicted for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, earlier this year.
The double amputee Olympian was charged with premeditated murder after he fatally shot and killed his girlfriend at his home in Pretoria, South Africa on Valentine's Day.
Prosecutors requested an extension back in June to finish their investigation, and it appears as though they may have found more evidence as National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Medupe Simasiku says he can possibly be facing more charges.
These charges are expected to be made public by Monday, however the trial is not expected to start up again until early 2014. As of now, an official date has not been set.
Oscar maintains his innocence and claims the shooting was accidental as he mistakenly fired at Reeva when he believed she was an intruder. If found guilty, he can face life in prison with a minimum of 25 years behind bars.
