The Biggest Loser Hires Un-Certified Trainer, Everyone Skeptical!

Sandy Krum has been on the show since 2007, but has NOT been asked back for Season 15 of The Biggest Loser! In his place will be a newbie — who is so new that he is NOT officially certified as a trainer in California!

This worries everyone, and for good reason!

The Biggest Loser is not a show about people who are just kinda overweight who want to get toned. It's a show about extremely obese people who need to make life-altering changes before their unhealthy weight catches up to them and potentially cuts their lives short. In other words, these people need CERTIFIED and OFFICIAL trainers that know what they're doing, or it could be really really dangerous!

That new un-certified trainer's name is Ryan Applegate, and past contestants/several staff members on the show are extremely upset that he hasn't passed the stringent certification test! The test is required by law and proves a trainer's qualifications!

Here's what a rep said from the show:

"The health and safety of our contestants is our #1 priority and the show is confident that the team of professionals they have hired to work with the contestants are qualified to do so."

They should be REQUIRED to prove that they're qualified, though!

We're totally not saying that Ryan doesn't have the skills, because he probably does! What we're saying is that nobody should gamble on the off-chance that he DOESN'T.

Certification will ease that!
