Of all of the lawsuits we've heard against professional athletes, this is definitely one of the strangest!
Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade has been actively involved in charity for years, and back in 2003 he started the Wade's World Foundation to encourage kids in rougher neighborhoods to stay in school!
Last year, the organization held an event called "Chicago Has Talent," and a high school marching band decided to take part in the friendly competition. But apparently one audience member walked away with a HUGE headache and wants Wade to pay up!
Andrea Alexander was in attendance for the event and had an aisle seat when the band came marching through. Well one of the bass drummers got a bit too close for comfort and accidentally hit her in the head with their mallet!
Now she's claiming the blow to the noggin caused "severe and permanent injuries" and is suing Wade's World Foundation, saying they shouldn't have allowed the band to play in such narrow aisles!
Andrea is asking for $50,000 for her pain and suffering, and she's also planning on suing the venue as well as the high school marching band!
It seems a bit ridiculous to file a lawsuit considering the whole thing was simply an accident, but we'll have to wait and see if the court agrees!
What a headache!
