This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

Did you know that Sean Connery allegedly has Alzheimer's so bad that he's 'no longer in full control of his senses'?
Neither did his close friends, and they are POSITIVE that what the German Sunday newspaper (Bild) said is categorically untrue. This includes longtime friend Michael Caine, who has gone on to blast the paper for such insensitive and 'untrue' rumors!
"It's completely preposterous, bull—-. This stuff about Alzheimer's is just nonsense."
If anyone would know about it, it would be Michael. He and Sean have been very close since the 1950's, and were even in movies together. So when the article ran, called Connery Forgets His Life, Michael set out to set them straight — because it was HIM they were quoting!
The article even claimed that Sean's wife was worried about answering the phone in case someone was calling to tell her her husband couldn't remember how to get home. Caine continued:
"I did some interviews over in Germany for a new film I have done and I can only assume that someone has twisted my words or got the wrong end of the stick. I haven't seen Sean for a couple of years but my wife and I spoke to him on the phone on his birthday this week and he was very well. He was fine, in complete control of his senses and his usual self. I have no idea where they are getting this stuff from.
"I know Sean was quite ill a year or so ago. But he is much better now and it was never anything to do with his mental state."
The only reasons why Michael hasn't seen Sean in that long have to do with the fact that Sean is retired (so they don't work together), and spends most of his time in the Bahamas (Michael lives in England). He continued:
"It would be great to see him again but I know he rarely leaves his home in the Bahamas. The last time I saw him, he was watching Andy Murray playing tennis."
We totally remember that (above, left)!
Anyway, we understand that mistakes happen — but an article this big and so specific being so wrong borderlines on a HUGE drop of the professional ball!
Until we hear anything from Sean's camp, we'll just assumed he's in the Bahamas fishing and being the real James Bond.
