When it comes to Hollywood, there aren't many actresses that are cooler and more laid back than Emma Stone!
But believe it or not, that wasn't always the case!
In a recent interview, Emma talked a little bit about her childhood before she broke into showbiz, and she reveals that back in the day she used to be a nervous wreck!
She says:
"My mother started taking me to acting classes because she thought it would help me focus my energies. I was this really anxious kid in grad school. I had my first panic attack when I was eight years old. I don't know why, but as a kid I worried about things like our house burning down, and I'd wring my hands all the time. So my parents took me to a therapist. While I was figuring things out, something happened where I just thought, okay, all right, I want to act."
We're definitely glad to hear Emma has put her panic-filled days behind her, and it almost sounds like getting through it helped her realize acting was the best path for her to follow!
Turns out she was right!
Besides, it sounds like being a wildly successful movie star AND dating Spider Man might be two constant things that could be helping her to stay calm these days.
Sounds like a pretty sweet gig if you ask us!
