Amanda Seyfried Tried To Go Vegan, Failed Horribly!

amanda seyfried vegan diet tried failed

Being vegan takes a lot of self control, that's for sure — so if you LOVE CHEESE, you probably won't get very far if you try and give it a go!

That's exactly what happened to that fab & stunning beauty known as Amanda Seyfried! Oh, and she also had a vegan sandwich once that did NOT agree with her!

Here's what she said:

”Normally, I’m a super healthy eater. I’m what they call a pescetarian [someone who abstains from all meat except fish] but I’ve tried veganism before. Anne Hathaway gave me a vegan sandwich on the set of ‘Les Miserables’ once, but my body didn’t take to it. I like vegetables, but I love cheese. I have a great relationship with cheese!”

That… that doesn't really sound like a REAL attempt at going vegan to us!

Plus, they totally make vegan cheese! That's not an excuse!

Though, if she secretly just doesn't want to be a vegan, we can understand that too. It's not like one kind of person is better than they other — just different! To each their own, as long as everyone's healthy!!

Shut the fuck up Mario. "that doesn't sound like a real attempt to me…" fuck you. Vegan is not the only way to go. Don't criticize her. God put animals on this planet for us to eat. Some of us like meat. ugh - you are such a douche.

vegas cheese does not taste like cheese at all. For me it's really shit, it's better to eat a small amount of cheese than to eat a fake cheese.
People who go vegas should not to try to replace real food as cheese or meat for a substitute

Cheese is totally unhealthy and is highly carcinogenic. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.

    Re: issa

Meat-eating which causes animal suffering is a moral issue in the same way that cheating, stealing, lying, and harming others are all moral issues. Morality is not a matter of taste or personal choice. And people have a perfect right to "judge" other on moral issues.

You do realize that like a lot of vegan versions of food, vegan cheese is overly processed and really bad for you, don't you? Eating real cheese is actually a healthier choice.

Re: ickynickyRe: ickynicky – You shouldn't eat either cheese or processed vegan versions of food. I eat real food, vegetables, beans, grains, nuts, berries, fruits. No cheese, no processed foods.

Adult humans do not need cow's milk any more than they need goat's milk, wolf's milk, camel's milk, giraffe's milk. Unweaned infants do remarkably better on their own mother's breast milk which is what our species was intended to consume. There's absolutely nothing beneficial to the human diet in cow's milk that can't be gotten through plant based sources.

Female cows are forcibly artificially inseminated to become pregnant and continue lactating. After 9 months, the dairy industry steals these baby calves shortly after they are born. The "worthless" males who can't make milk are either killed immediately or kept in isolation for a few months to become veal. The unfortunate females calves follow their mother's sad lot all the way to the last moments on the kill floor when they are no longer "productive".

Thankfully there's abundant plant based alternatives that are just as nutritional, just as satisfying and just as versatile in cooking. Some even have twice the amount of calcium and vitamin D as cow's milk does.

Dairy is also destructive to the environment and a tragic waste of resources. Perhaps it is time for "unweaned" adults to look beyond what deceptiveness and hype the dairy industry is pitching at you in order to keep their profits and their cruel practices in check.

Re: Bea Elliott – oh GOD … One of you blathering fools. Great. What happened to freedom of choice? please stop touching the cows titties, Bea Elliott is upset and is on a tirade. p.s. vegan cheese tastes like ass

Re: @v@ – Yes, on a cheeseburger. Going to buy one tomorrow to celebrate Labor Day.

Re: Patty – Not to mention it is loaded with cholesterol, fat, pus from infected udders, hormones fed to the cow, lots of little things that add up to a huge negtative for eating it. Go ahead, eat cheese Amanda, we vegans call it thinning of the herd.

  14. Doncha Just know says – reply to this

Re: GoSuckADick – You really do need to take your own advice and go suck a dick because your reasoning isn't reasoning at all. It's emotional. Go ahead and eat meat and cheese. Stuff your faces with it. As someone else said, "thinning of the herd." I don't mind a bit that you eat it. In fact, I hope you eat more. Means a heart attack will get you pretty soon and we don't have to deal with idiots like you.

I've been vegan for 25 years and consider it one of the best decisions of my life. Here's a video to help everyone understand why so many people are making this life affirming choice and why the number of vegans has doubled in the US in less than 3 years.:

Also, here's a link for everyone to make the transition easy: 21-Day Vegan Kickstart

you are the worst, why are you judging her? she's still vegetarian and beautiful and she can eat whatever she wants. you are still a bully no matter what you say

Re: teeter totter – Revisiting Teenburgers…amazingly good, and they have bacon.

Re: Doncha Just know – who says Every response to an article is meant to be reasoning??? Lots of people who drink cows or goats milk live to be 90 plus years old. What the fuck do you know?? Judgemental twat. By the way, I am mostly vegetarian w regard to meat, so I like a bit of cheese. BIG FUCKING DEAL.

  19. 19

Okay, first of all, trying ONE sandwich IS NOT a real attempt at veganism. Perez is absolutely right. Girlfriend didn't try for a month, a week, or even a day, so lay off him. Cheese makes me gag. I'm vegan and loving it. I think if you're addicted to cheese before the transition, it will be hard to stop craving it. If I make a pizza, I'll probably use a little Daiya cheese, but I'm just nota fan of any type of cheese. I made my own cheese once though. One can cannolini beans, one cooked sweet potato or yam, some nutritional yeast, garlic powder, tahini, oil, bell pepper and agave nectar. It was for my' mac n cheese' recipe. Turned out pretty good.

Re: Pansy – I'm aware of that. I'm a vegan myself, but I don't go pushing my opinions on what's right and wrong in peoples faces. If Amanda wants to eat meat thats HER choice, not mine, yours or Perez's.

  21. 21

yeah, but vegan cheese is about 50% fat! you won't kill the cow, but you'll kill yourself.

I used to be addicted to dairy. Here's my confession.

  23. 23

I had a really hard time giving up dairy. Here's my confession.
