PETA Says Eating Chicken Wings Could Affect Your Unborn Son's Penis Size!

peta says chicken wings can affect penis size

A warning to all women who are pregnant and expecting baby boys: Whatever you do, do NOT eat chicken wings!

At least that's what PETA is saying!

Associate Director of Campaigns, Lindsay Rajt, recently reached out to Drew Cerza, the founder of the National Buffalo Festival that took place this weekend, with an open letter posted to the organization's website.

But instead of focusing on the unethical treatment of chickens, she turned the attention on pregnant women and their unborn sons. The letter reads:

"I'm reaching out again to ask you at least to take steps to ensure the safety of pregnant women by barring them from taking part in your contests. As I will explain, consuming poultry while pregnant may lead to birth defects in utero, including smaller-than-average penises for newborn boys. I think we can agree that embarrassment and insecurity are no small matters."

That's right! According to PETA, if you're pregnant and you choose to eat chicken wings, chances are your unborn son won't turn out to be Jon Hamm!

The letter goes on to say:

"Findings published by the Study for Future Families showed that eating poultry during pregnancy may lead to smaller penis size in male infants. Looking at dairy products, eggs, fish, fruit, bird meat, potatoes, tomatoes, vegetables, and red meat, researchers found the most significant link between chicken consumption and decreased penis size because of a chemical compound found in the meat. Furthermore, evidence indicates that heterosexual women's sexual satisfaction depends in part on their partner's penis size."

PETA is known to get creative when it comes to protesting any unethical treatment for animals, but this is definitely a new angle they're taking here!

Shanna H. Swan, Ph. D., conducted the research that PETA is citing in their letter, but she says that the link between chicken wings and genital size is "very tenuous."

So don't worry, expecting mothers! If you want to enjoy a nice plate of chicken wings, chances are your baby boy will be just fine!

Maybe you should publish how many companion animals PETA slaughtered at their "shelter" last year. For a group concerned with the treatment of animals, they sure did kill a lot of cats and dogs. It's appalling.

I don't know if this is true, but I do know that factory meats are loaded with crap, and the animals are treated terribly. Either buy directly from a reputable farmer, or buy organic.

PETA will use anything to get people to eat SOY, which actually is one of the only vegetables in the world to contain natural phytoestrogen…yes, that is female hormone
so, if there is a thing a pregnant wowan should eat is SOY.

PETA would do anything to get people not to eat right and to eat things like SOY, which actually os one of the few vegetables in the world that contain phytoestrogen..that`s right, female hormones!!!
So if there`s a thing a pregnant woman shouldn`t eat is SOY!!!
and PETA: really bad to use a stupid stereotype to get what you want…that`s unethical

I must say I'M so sorry to read such rubbish
At one time PETA did some good work in fighting and in stopping animal abuse,
but when they pull publicity stunts like this, and squander thousand of donated dollars,
well you lose me and my support

Try for better protein where it's possible. On the flip side, volunteered at an upscale artsy school helping kids, and every one of the strictly vegan kids were quite a bit smaller and underdeveloped (poor teeth, thin hair, no shine, tired etc.) compared to the others, so there's that to also consider. If you're going to go vegan, extra care must be taken to meet daily nutrient standards.

PETA has been full of shit since i was old enough to know how to detect bull shit.

  14. 14

Doesn't seem to be doing black folks any harm. MYTH DEBUNKED!

Force fed chicken IS chock full of hormones which boost their growth and retail sales weight, and those hormones do affect the human body in many ways long term. Go organic if you can afford to with chicken.
