Yet another NBA player is finding themselves in a bit of legal trouble as Royce White is currently under investigation for domestic violence after he allegedly beat up his girlfriend and Maxim model, Tania Mehra.
The incident goes back to June 22, when police received a phone call reporting that Tania had a laceration over her right eye, but she claimed the injury was the result of an "accidental fall."
Well her story has now changed, as she filed a police report on August 30th claiming she lied about the night of the incident and that she had actually gotten into an argument with Royce.
"The victim said she had lied earlier because the suspect played for the NBA and did not want the incident to damage his career."
The couple allegedly got into a fight after Tania accused Royce of making advances on one of her friends, and things quickly escalated and got violent.
Tania says the Houston Rocket even tried to throw a candleholder at her, but he missed and smashed a mirror instead.
Royce has a history of mental health issues, and his struggles with OCD and anxiety disorder has caused him to miss his entire rookie season in the NBA.
The incident is currently under investigation, but no charges have been filed yet.
