That must be one tasty trophy!!!
The U.S. Open came to an end yesterday, and Rafael Nadal came out on top after defeating Novak Djokovic in four sets!
The victory capped off a great year for the Spanish tennis player after he also won the French Open earlier this year, and it marked the 13th Grand Slam title of his career!
That means Rafa is only one shy of Pete Sampras who has 14, and 4 behind Roger Federer who has the record for the most Grand Slam titles with 17!
While it certainly looks like the record is within striking distance, Nadal said he simply wanted to enjoy the sweet taste of victory for the moment as he took a big bite out of his trophy!
Unfortunately, we're guessing it wasn't made of chocolate like he was probably hoping!
Meanwhile, Djokovic was forced to settle with a smaller, much less delicious runner-up trophy!
Oh well, there's always next year!
