Losing baby weight is hard for ANY new mother, especially if you're in the public eye.
Kim Kardashian — and no mother, for that matter — should EVER be made to feel 'devastated' over cruel baby weight comments coming from unsavory people! Going through childbirth EARNS you the right to do whatever you want while you care for your young one, and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
Kim is supposedly going through a lot of mental anguish after having baby North, because she was at the receiving end of 'cruel and unnecessary' treatment from everyone, especially the media.
Even her step-brother Brody Jenner has noticed how hard she's taking the criticism, saying:
"A lot of very cruel things were written about her. When you’re pregnant it should be a great stage in your life and you shouldn’t have to go to every newsstand and see pictures and headlines saying: 'Kim’s a whale.'"
Things got pretty bad, though, because she DID have to go through that:
"For a while, Kim was all bummed out with all the ridicule she was getting about her weight during her pregnancy … it was definitely getting to her.
I know it upset her — it should have been one of the happiest times of her life and it wasn’t. People gain weight when they’re pregnant and there’s nothing wrong with that. It upset me to read some things about her. She dealt with it and she’s a strong girl, she’s getting through it and everything’s good. She’s been focusing on losing weight and being a mom."
Being a mom comes first, fo sho!
We wish we could help all women have the uplifting pregnancy they deserve, but unfortunately that would be a near-impossible task! What we CAN do, however, is support them from here!
You're doing just fine, Kim! Even her trainer Tracy Anderson thinks so:
"She's just taking time with the baby. She's not concerned with working out or anything. Amazing. So connected. I knew she was going to be a great mom when I trained her during pregnancy."
