Julie Chen's Plastic Surgery Secret Just Rocked The Talk

| Filed under: TV NewsThe TalkSurgery

Julie Chen has been in the public spotlight for quite a while, having hosted Big Brother for 15 seasons, done the news, and has taken up co-hosting duties of the popular The Talk talk show. She's a fan favorite, and you'd think after all these years there wouldn't be many secrets left in her bag.

Apparently that's not true!

Julie just revealed on The Talk that she's had plastic surgery — surgery to her eyes to look less 'Chinese.'

We're serious. She was told she had to look less 'Chinese' if she wanted to be taken seriously in the news — which is a load of bullshizz, but if you're in her position at that age, it might seem less clear!

Oh, and she pulled the trigger because she heard the same thing from both her boss and agent! No wonder she decided to have her eyes done! She even showed a Before & After photo, which highlighted the results of the procedure.

Check out the powerful moment (above). We don't even know what to say!

Regardless of what she's had done, we still love WHO she is!

Her nose looks totally different between the 2 photos also. She is NOT "representing her culture" if she chose to alter her looks to be "less asian". She did sell out to have a career. As long as she does not regret it, then good for her.

Well, she looks stunning. Her face has a much broader universal appeal, and for her industry, she visually ropes in a larger demographic; asian AND everybody else. This happens in other areas as well, such as audio. In broadcasting, Canadians do very well in the U.S. (i.e. Alex Trebek, John Roberts, Ashleigh Banfield, Peter Jennings (RIP) because they have a neutral middle of the road accent (with no local twangs) that everyone across the country can understand.
