Apparently combining croissants and donuts to create the delectable Cronut just wasn't enough, because the evil genius known as Chef Dominique Ansel is stepping up his game!!
On Tuesday, September 17th, Dominique Ansel Bakery will be teaming up with Shake Shack to create a diabolical treat so delicious, your salivary glands might explode!!!
Meet the Cronut Hole Concrete (above), a limited edition snack that combines Cronut holes and butter caramel frozen custard!
Seriously, resist the urge to lick your computer screen!
But if you're looking to chow down on one of these bad boys, we have some unfortunate news. They'll only be available for a day!!
Starting at 10 a.m. the Shake Shack in Madison Square Park will start selling the Cronut Hole Concrete, and there will only be 1,000 available!
There will be a limit of only two per person, so you wont need to worry about hoarders taking all of them. However, we're guessing you should bring a comfy pair of shoes, because the line will most likely be VERY long!!
And the best part about this limited edition treat, is that proceeds are going toward good causes! Money made from sales of the concrete will go to two benefits: The New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association Widows and Children’s Fund, which helps raise money for the families of deceased NYPD officers, and the Madison Square Park Conservancy, which raises money to keep the historic park in tip top condition!
So if you're feeling bad about waiting in line for a few hours to snack on some sugary sweet goodness, just remember it's for a good cause!
Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to go camp out to save our spot in line!
