Paula Deen Gets Standing Ovation During Emotional Return To The Stage! Watch HERE!

She's baaaaaaack y'all!!

Paula Deen made her first public appearance this weekend at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Houston after facing a damaging racial discrimination lawsuit that was eventually dropped.

But despite all of the controversy, the celebrity chef got a big taste of Southern hospitality as she was met with a standing ovation from the Texas crowd of 1,400!

Paula couldn't hide her emotions as the waterworks began to flow and she thanked the crowd, saying:

"I've said all along that the one place that I would want to make my first step back out was Texas. Y'all's hearts are as big as your state."

The event had previously dropped Paula from their ads and we weren't really sure how the public would respond to her after she admitted to using racial slurs at her restaurant, but it sounds like we have our answer!

This is just the beginning of her comeback, as she's also scheduled to make an appearance at The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Dallas on September 22nd with her son Bobby Deen!

Ch-ch-check out her emotional return to the stage (above)!

Lol, of course a racist redneck would get a standing ovation in Texas.

Boo hoo. Give me a break.

  3. 3

Of course she started her tour in texas, they are the biggest racists.

watching what happened to that 66 year old woman was enough to turn anyone racist. that was one of the most shameful, cowardly acts I've seen in a long time. who freaking cares if anyone is a racist anymore. the word is thrown around so much it has little meaning anymore.

Of course she's going to continue having a fan base in the south! The South hasns't realy changed very much in the last 100 years, if they could have slaves again I'm sure a majority of the population would agree to it. Which is unfortunate, would love to travel there to eat their delicious food but..

It's not because it's Texas, it is because the whole situation was blown way out of proportion. She said the n word, oh well! So does half of the population and they don't get shunned. It's stupid and Get over it!

Not everyone wants to live in a PC world surrounded by the liberal word/thought police; Welcome back Paula, I hope you make tons of money. Only a few idiots care that you used the N word over 30 years ago while at gun point. Those same liberal idiots that seek to control your behavior are now making sweeping negative generalizations about Texans.

Re: The Matrix – Thanks I agree, she got crucified for telling the truth under oath in a deposition. According to her, she used the word to her husband in private after being held up in a bank and having a gun pointed at her head. I would have used those words and stronger, and if you want to hate on me, I do not care. By the way I have never watched her show or eaten in her restaurant so I have no stake in this dispute.

I wonder, here in Thailand the N word is used normally to address black people…so why throw stones at Paula only.

She never admitted to using racial slurs in her restaurant. She said she may have made a comment at home to her husband after being held up at gun point. Read the Transcripts. Get a clue. Stop Printing lies!!!!!!!

Paula was given a bad wrap. To all the people that did this; take a good look into the mirror.
Shame on all the sponsors that dropped her and I sure hope the Food Network will
    bring Paula Deen back.

the recent remark by Oprey Winfrey, that we were all racists does nothing for the problems in this country. She is racist for making a remark like this. We nall have a part in changing things. Obamas friend should have kept her mouth shut, Everyone who makes negative comments only keeps the problem rolling. I love paula deen and agree it was shameful what they did to her!! I hope she makes it back to TV. I have not watched the Food network since. Her sone is okay but he is Not "paula"" Love ya paula, Elaine hunter born on Jan 19th, 1947 myself. We share a common birthday!!
