Who's ready to get fifty shades of wasted??

E.L. James has just launched her own 50 Shades of Grey wine, and this is as brilliant of a brand move that we've ever seen! Who doesn't want to kick back with a nice glass of spankin' good wine and read some sexy Twilight fan fiction book porn??

Exactly!

The new wine comes in two varieties: Red Satin and White Silk, with the tagline 'You Are Mine.'

Apparently they were developed and personally blended by James and winemakers in California’s North Coast region, so it's not like she's just slapping a brand on it and calling it a day — she actually had a personal hand in it!

Here's what she said about it:

“Wine plays an important role in Fifty Shades of Grey, adding to the sensuality that pervades a number of scenes. I hope my readers curl up with a glass as they enjoy the romance between Anastasia and Christian.”

Here's how the two wines taste:

Red Satin:

“A decadent red blend of Petite Sirah and Syrah with flavors of black cherry, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and vanilla, leather and clove spice.”

White Silk:

"Floral aromatics of lychee and honey, tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit, mineral and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch.”

We'll be honest here… that sounds delicious. We'd LOVE to try some!

The good news is that anybody can, if they want, because you can buy it online for like $18. That's not bad!

DRINK RESPONSIBLY, even if you are home alone reading by firelight!

That is actually not too bad a price, although to be honest when I buy wine, I usually go to Trader Joe's, they have a pretty good selection at reasonable prices. I used to do a lot of wine tasting and the prices at the wineries are for the most part total ripoffs. TJ's has a lot of second label stuff that the wineries did not want to put their own name on.
