We always knew good things would happen when you combine football and *NSYNC!
A couple of weeks ago, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake gave us a bit of a history lesson on the "Evolution of End Zone Dancing," and one particular celebration featured some dance moves from the Bye Bye Bye music video!
While JT didn't seem to pleased with the spoof, one particular Detroit Lions wide receiver decided to make the joke a reality!
Meet your new favorite football player, Joseph Fauria, who pulled off some amazing *NSYNC inspired dance moves after scoring a touchdown last weekend!
Well Jimmy promised to make a donation to the first player to successfully pull of the celebration and stuck to his word by donation $10,000 to the Make-A-Wish-Foundation!
"We were going nuts. We all saw it on Twitter. We were going crazy."
Joseph admits that the hilarious clip certainly inspired his celebration and that he watched the video a few times to make sure he had the moves down perfectly!
But apparently, he was also quite an *NSYNC fanatic back in the day, as he revealed:
"That's where I got it from. And also being an 'N Sync fan for a long period of time. You know, when I had my bleached blond tips when I was 10, you know."
So where can we get our hands on a Joseph Fauria jersey?? Ha!!
Not only are we pumped to see football players incorporating boy bands into their celebrations, but we're also glad that it ended up paying off for a great cause!
Now if we could just get some players to start doing some Backstreet Boys moves, we'd totally be tuning in on Sundays! LOLz!
Ch-ch-check out Joseph's sweet celebration (below)!
