James Taylor Messes Up The National Anthem At The World Series! Watch HERE!

Last night, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox met for their second match-up in the World Series, and this time James Taylor was called to the plate to sing the National Anthem!

Unfortunately, the rock and roll Hall of Famer was not able to live up the the performance Mary J. Blige put on the night before, but it had nothing to do with his voice! He actually MESSED up the words!!

As James began plucking at his guitar strings, he accidentally started singing America the Beautiful instead! Luckily, he caught his mistake and still pulled off a great performance!

The singer-songwriter was supposed to sing America the Beautiful during the 7th inning stretch, so it's easy to see why there was a mix-up.

Unfortunately, the flub proved to be a bit of a bad omen as the Red Sox actually ended up LOSING at home after making a couple of costly errors!

We knew they should have brought back Mary for Game 2!!!

Ch-ch-check out the National Anthem mishap (above)!

LOSER, he is so screwed up from all the drugs he has done
He should just take his sorry ass and crawl into a hole
What Roseann Barr wasn't available, and he was next on the list

I'd say it was on par with Mary J. Blige's. Her's sucked, too. She took several one syllable words and turned them into four syllable words. People need to just sing the national anthem the way it was meant to be sung and not try to make it their own.
