There's no question that David Beckham is one of the best soccer players in recent memory, but he didn't turn into a ball-kicking God overnight!
In his upcoming book, Becks says his love for football goes way back to the days when he was just a wee lad!
The only problem was after practice he wasn't allowed to have a ball in the house, so he found an interesting solution!
"I would carry on playing when I got home. I wasn't allowed a football in the house so I would practise by kicking the Care Bears in my sister's bedroom. My mum thought it was funny, but it showed how much I loved football. I couldn't get enough of it."
Is this the secret to achieving soccer greatness?? Because it seemed to work out pretty well for Becks!
We're guessing Care Bear sales are gonna go through the roof in England once young footballers hear about this! LOLz!
