It all started out as an innocent trip near Area 51, and then things got weird.
“I’ve been down this road probably way more times than I’d like to admit. If someone wants to leave, they want to leave.”
Later on she said to her husband:
“You’re not my child, I can’t lock you in a room — as much as I would like to.”
Then, there was a tense moment with the family when Cory Monteith’s death was brought up, and Bruce Jenner had some strong feelings about the topic. The interaction went like this:
Bruce: “Lesson to be learned, stay away.”
Khloe: “Far away.”
Bruce: “Really stupid … what a waste of a life!”
Khloe: “Do you think it was a choice?”
Bruce: “I have a hard time with people that need drugs to have a good time.”
Khloe: “You know being a drug addict is a disease.”
Bruce: “No. It is a personal choice. You know what you’re doing? You’re taking the responsibility away from the person. [Cory] had a choice to take drugs. It’s his own fault. You can’t blame anybody else but him!”
Kendall Jenner: “You get yourself into it — I agree with you there, like it is your choice to get started with something like that but once you’ve already started, and done it a hundred times, and now you’re addicted, I do agree with Khloe. It is a disease.”
You may recall that Khloe made sure to keep Lamar’s addiction a secret from her family as long as possible, but her brother Rob Kardashian seemed to know, since he lived with them. He said:
“There’s so much going on in the Odom household that nobody really understands, nor should they, at this point. I just happen to live there. All I can do is support my sister.”
That does sound pretty weird!
He also added said to his family, “[Lamar] just doesn’t sleep. His hours are bizarre.”
But the BIG kicker came duing a confessional, when Khloe said:
“Lamar has been having a really hard time lately. It’s not just black and white. There’s a lot of emotional issues and as much as I’m trying to enjoy going camping with my family, I also have to cater to Lamar’s needs. It’s really scary when nothing’s really working, and then you know if you give up, no one in his life would be able to help.”
This must be such an awful time for KoKo, but we’re glad she’s been able to stay strong through all of it.
Who knows, maybe there will be more revelations next week!
