President Barack Obama Apologizes To Americans Losing Current Health Insurance Due To Obamacare!

president barack obama apologizes to citizens losing health insurance plans due to affordable care act

It's not exactly a secret that some people aren't the biggest fans of the Affordable Care Act. Heck, even Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley couldn't help but poke fun at Obamacare at the CMA Awards!

Well President Barack Obama has heard the people's frustrations, and he's totally sorry about it!

Aside from the buggy website, one of the biggest complaints towards Obamacare is that some Americans are at risk of losing their current health coverage once the Affordable Care Act goes into affect.

However, President Obama previously assured people that if they were happy with their current plans, they wouldn't need to change it.

Well the POTUS recently spoke out about the controversy and apologized to American's who weren't happy with the change:

"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me. We've got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this."

The main people who will be affect are the 5% of Americans who buy their own insurance. Despite previous promises from the POTUS, some of them have already received cancellation notices saying they'll need to switch over or choose a different plan from their provider.

The 80% of Americans who receive their health care through employers, Medicare, or Medicaid will be unaffected.

President Obama goes on to say:

"Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job in terms of how we crafted the law. And, you know, that’s something I regret. That’s something we’re gonna do everything we can to get fixed … We’re looking at a range of options."

While President Obama is admitting their are still some obvious kinks to work out, he still stands by his word in saying a majority of citizens will be better off as a result of the Affordable Care Act.

We guess we'll just have to wait and see!

Part of the fact these things happen is because of the word by word systematic opposition by the Republicans.

Every woman in america claims they are "strong and independent". Every single one. I have never in my life heard a woman say "i am weak… and dependent". So why do they need help with something as simple and trivial as health insurance? Either they are lying about being "strong and independent" or they dont need obamacare. And if they are lying about being strong and independent then they are lying about not needing rich men. I'd rather women chase rich men than watch obamacare bankrupt our once great nation (that is goign the way of detroit.. slowly). America is becoming one big ponzi scheme Spending money on a get rich quick plan… and then pay for its continuance with new adherents to the get rich quick scheme (millions of new immigrants attracted by the get rich quick scam)

Re: overthere – REALLY?!?!?!? This was HIS baby, pushed onto us when he had the majority in Congress… they HAD to pass in it order for us to know what was in it… so much for the we will let you know what is in EVERY SINGLE BILL before it is ever passed into law… transparancy… remember??? The website is a FAILURE, the coverage is NOT affordable… HIS BABY… HIS legacy…. HIS FAILURE. This is ALL him and his administration so for ONCE it would be nice for them to man up and own it.

These numbers do not match up. Your statement about the 80% is also incorrect. NOT TRUE.

Re: TIMMMAY – My best friends insurance, through her employer, went from $45 a week to $202 a week and it ALMOST covers 50% of doctors visits, emergencies, other costs, the rest still has to come out of her pocket. This friend is a divorced single mother and now isn't sure what she will do since she can not afford that nor can she afford the governments so called "affordable" health care coverage. More like it uninsured the insured.

Re: multilevelPOnziFraud – Well I will admit to being weak and independent.
Weak because I have mobility issues and have to walk with a cane.
Independent because I am a widow that lives alone and therefore has no choice.
I voted for Obama the first time around, big mistake, I should have voted for Ron Paul. I could not believe that people voted him in for a second term.
He and Congress need to fix this problem before they start passing bills about gay rights as this affects a lot more people.

Why did the name shift from Affordable Health Care Act to Obamacare? Romney invented it.

  14. 14

The government in the history of the government has never made things "cheaper". They try to run a country like a business but end up failing big time. It's not "cheaper" when Obamacare just piggybacks off of other insurances. People hopping on the Obamacare bandwagon are dumb.

Your facts are completely false not to mention biased. If your employer has changed insurance companies after 2010 then you will be dropped promptly, just like my company.

  16. 16

He was on track to make GW Bush look like a hero, before this ObamaCare debacle… Some morons are saying Romney invented it… LOL… get your facts straight… Romney invented the concept… my dog knew better than imposing this on the entire country.
Lastly, this was to give 30 million uninured people health care, IT AFFECTS 300 million people… I had great coverage i was contributing to, not I am paying more, and getting less… If you are still supporting Obama, get your head out of JayZ's ass already

Perez, i love your website, but you are completely WRONG on this. ONLY 5% buy their own insurance? You are incorrect, sir. this doesn't benefit anyone except those who have no insurance!!

Let's hope some big disaster isn't on the horizon, because millions have been kicked off their insurance and can't seem to get on to this new and expensive plan, while insurance companies would be off the hook for payouts if millions were hurt.

  19. 19

i want decisions about my health to be in the hands of a corporation who will deny me care, so they can make more money! no obamacare, please! I want a sick and short life!!!

Re: Shut Up – You didnt give me any wit to work with, sister. "small dick". Well that only makes me nostalgic for 6th grade (where that insult comes from). I was hoping to read intellectual posts in this thread but you came on this thread with a juvenile "small dick comment " thats only an insult to a guy who actually has a small dick". You insulted an imaginary version of me in your mind. I'm sure he's insulted but I cant really speak for him. NEver met him. You called me a sexist. I am not. I consider myself superior to both women AND men.. equally. Less than 1% of white females on the entire earth have an IQ as high as mine (based on IQ statistics). And males are much better scoring in the upper levels of IQ but still most do not reach my level. But the ones that do.. are superior to me. I"m all about IQ not gender. That could be a personality flaw. I attest to that but dont give a fuck.

Re: teeter totter – The fact you are able to admit you are weak… makes you stronger than most people. And yes you should have voted for anyone but obama (I only support libertarians myself). I love Obama as a person. He's got a great sense of humor and has made me laugh often and if he orders me to war… I'd do it. I follow my leaders but…. Detroit. Detroit is the end result of Democratic ideologies. They took the greatest city american men ever built and ran to pieces. Detroit is PROOF their way of thinking doesnt work. Detroit fell… because its being run by Democrats. Now they are doing it to america but don't know it.
