There were soo many lovely ladies, it really is a shame that only one of them was allowed to be named a winner!
But when all was said and done, Miss Venezuela, AKA Gabriela Isler, was crowned Miss Universe in a field of 86 of the most beautiful women the world has to offer at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall!
When the 25-year-old isn't busy winning beauty pageants in front of an audience of 1 billion people, she's an anchor for Venezuela's Venevision television network! No wonder she was so comfortable in front of the camera!
Gabriela received tons of support from her homeland, including Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro, who took to Twitter to congratulate her:
"Congratulations to Maria Gabriela Isler for his victory, which is the triumph of Venezuela"
The judges panel was an interesting mixture of talent that consisted of world-famous chef Nobu Matsuhisa, gold medal-winning figure skater Tara Lipinski, and last but not least Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler!
It definitely looks like the judges made the right choice by crowning Miss Venezuela, but then again, could they have really made a wrong choice here?
