Jennifer Lawrence, everyone's best friend and crush, had been hospitalized — and all before her major L.A. premiere of her massive new movie, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire! She was admitted for severe stomach pains!
Honestly, even if she seems laid-back compared to a lot of other celebs, she's still under immense pressure, especially while promoting this behemoth of a movie! We could totally understand how this could happen!
So was it ulcers??
Here's what the insider said about what happened:
“She had a brief doctor visit sometime before the premiere. She had cramps and stomach pain. Turns out it was gas.”
Oh man, we TOTES know how painful things like that can be, so we don't want to necessarily laugh — but gas CAN be hilarious!
We mean, she even hinted on Letterman that it could've been a accident that made her get checked out:
'You can only s— your pants so many times before you have to go to the emergency room.'
LOLz, we don't want to laugh, but she's putting it in the best way and the funniest light possible!
The source went on to say that even though she made the premiere, she didn't make the after party:
“One of the film producers threw a party at his place last night, and her stomach was the topic of discussion."
So we hear that it turns out what she thought was an ulcer was actually gas, but that was after an endoscopy. We're not sure if you get an endoscopy if something's 'just gas!'
Ulcer or gas, we're just glad she's okay!
We love that she's not embarrassed a bit by this, and that to her it's just part of the human body — and that it happens to everyone, even gorgeous movie stars!
So yeah, we still want her as our best friend! Gas or not!
