There's gotta be nothing worse than having the Olympics so close, being pretty much guaranteed to compete, and then getting injured and putting alllllll of that in question!
That's exactly what's going on in Olympic skier and Tiger Woods's girlfriend, Lindsay Vonn's, life right now. She re-injured her right knee in a crash on Tuesday, and the Olympics might now be in question!
The original knee injury was an awful one in February that required surgery to her ACL and MCL.
Here's what her rep said:
"Lindsey sustained a mild strain to her right knee, a partial tear to her right ACL, minor facial abrasions and scapular contusions from her fall. She needs to rest for a few days and then will pursue aggressive physical therapy and will determine the next time she is able to compete after seeing how she responds to treatment."
Nothing about that seems tooooo optimistic, which is a HUGE bummer!
She had planned to compete in the World Cup competition on Nov. 29 — but we bet that's out completely. Sochi, though, might still be doable!
And we hope it is!
Feel better, Lindsey!
