The Black Mamba isn’t done quite yet!

Kobe Bryant is on the last year of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, but he’s still got some gas in the tank.

So they extended his contract!

Despite the fact that the NBA star hasn’t played a minute of basketball in a game this season, the Lakers feel confident that he’s ready to come back better than ever, and decided to keep him for two more years!

And fans of #24 everywhere rejoiced!!!

The contract will be worth $48 million, in addition to the $30.5 million he’ll earn this year, still making him the highest paid player in the game.

Fans are a little worried about how this will affect their payroll during free agency next season, but the front office will figure it out.

This is just so exciting to see someone come back from an injury that terrible!
