Prince Harry's Broken Toe Was A Failed Ploy To Get Out Of Trekking To The South Pole!

And obviously when Prince Harry admits to the ploy, he's TOTES JOKING!!

Prince Harry is on his way to the South Pole right now, all to raise awareness for wounded veterans as part of the Walking With the Wounded initiative. He's joined by two other teams in a race to the souther tip, and one of those teams has the boner-inducing Alexander Skarsgård leading the way!

Getting candid about that broken toe, Harry said:

“I obviously broke my toe hoping to get out of the trip, that was a massive fail on my part! But whatever setbacks I’ve had, it’s irrelevant against these guys and it always was going to be so there was never any question of pulling out. I’ve got four limbs. These guys have got all these life-changing injuries that are really hard for them, I’m glad to have the chance to create awareness.”

Plus it's a great excuse to grow an awesome beard and not shave for a month (above, in progress obvi)!

What Prince wouldn't like a chance to not worry about appearances for a while??

Honestly, what he's doing is magnificent, and TOTALLY inspiring! We would love to go with him next time!!

I hate it when people do something to "raise awareness". Is anyone here unaware that there are wounded veterans? Is anyone here unaware of breast cancer? Is anyone here unaware of autism? On a side note, if you're a wounded veteran, that's your problem. You signed up for the job and you probably did so because you didn't have any other options. It's not my fault you were a bad student and couldn't get into college. This whole pity party for soldiers is getting old.
