Nigella Lawson is still in trouble with the law but that doesn't mean she can't start thinking about the future!
After her shocking cocaine admission and other courtroom shenanigans, she's definitely on damage control! Or at least should be!
So, what does a celeb with an image problem do? They BOOK OPRAH TO FIX IT!
Which we think is a fab idea, even for just the fact that it gives us more excuses to watch Oprah! Ha!
The only thing is, her team is denying it! The only reason why we know the plan COULD exist is that the court heard from the defense barrister that she's locked down an exclusive interview with Oprah. Nigella's personal assistant, Anzelle Wasserman, however, says it's not true!
Basically this is what happened:
Karina Arden, representing one of the ladies on trial said that "Ms. Lawson has signed an exclusive agreement with Oprah Winfrey for an interview in January," however, Anzelle replied, saying, "That's not correct."
That wording is a little shady as she didn't clarify what parts were incorrect, or if the whole statement was wrong! Maybe it isn't an EXCLUSIVE interview, or maybe it isn't in January or something!
We'll just have to wait and see if there's an announcement soon!
