evangeline lilly says organic diet cured depression

Healthy = happy!

At least if you’re Evangeline Lilly who has revealed that she beat clinical depression with her diet!

The 34-year-old Lost actress has fought mental health probz for years, but she said that switching over to all organic foods, nothing processed, has changed her life.

And she no longer needs medication!!!

It all started when she was filming Lost on Hawaii, and she explained the transformation in her body, which sounds pretty magical! Lilly said:

"I have battled clinical depression and have come out of the other side. I've been free of it for many years now… Finding the place in my own mind and heart to win that battle without using medication, finding the place within myself where I could be alive again, that was one of the biggest challenges I've faced… Going from eating whatever to eating primarily organic food, I was astounded what a difference that made. After about a year or two years, I started to feel something physically lift out of my brain, and I believe it was all the chemicals I was probably ingesting (before)."

Wow! That must have been such an uplifting moment!

There are plenty of studies that show what we eat directly affects our health, but hearing a story like this makes you think twice!

We thrilled that Evangeline has found happiness and most importantly, is feeling fantastic!

    This is hilarious. All food is organic. Studies have shown that proper nutrition is good for health. Not one single peer reviewed scientific study has shown that food grown without fertilizers or pesticides has any effect on mental health. Nor has any peer reviewed scientific study shown that nutrition has any effect on chronic depression or any other mental illness. Evangeline Lilly should stick to what she knows, acting, okay thats a stretch.
