He did it! They did it!!
We are SO HAPPY FOR THEM!! Walking With The Wounded has been honored!!
Prince Harry and and crew — including Alexander Skarsgård — have reached the South Pole! Bad weather be damned!
It took them a little more than three weeks to do it, too. It was all worth it! How many people can say they's stood on the bottom of the world?
Speaking about the challenges they faced, the WWTW organizer said:
'We always knew that this wasn't going to be easy, but that is what makes the challenge so exciting. Our aim was to show that, despite injury, young men and women from our armed forces can still achieve great things. We came down here, determined to get 12 men and women, all injured in conflict, to the South Pole, and this is what we have done. The feeling is incredible.'
We're honestly kinda glad that midway through the race they decided to cancel the competition between the three teams. They hit bad terrain AND weather, and they didn't want anyone taking risks in trying to win.
We are SO PROUD of everyone involved!
Congrats, guys! Now come home and race to our South Pole!
