After begining a controversial friendship with Kim Jong-Un, Dennis Rodman said he would return to North Korea and help train their men's basketball team for the 2016 olympics!
Well he's not letting anything stand in the way of his promise. And when we say anything, we mean ANYTHING!!!
The former NBA champ is set to make his third trip to North Korea this year, and it comes just a week after Kim Jong-Un's uncle Jang Song-thaek was executed.
Jang was widely considered to be second in command after the young dictator, however, he was put to death after he was accused of gambling, womanizing, and drug abuse. Oh, and also suspicion of plotting a coup.
We're guessing it mainly had to do with that last one.
The execution seems to be a clear sign of political unrest in an already unstable country, but it apparently is NOT affecting Dennis' travel plans as he's set to return to North Korea on Thursday.
At this point, we've completely given up on trying to understand why Dennis Rodman does the things that he does, but we really hope that he's able to open his eyes and realize just how serious this situation he's involved in is!
Stay safe, big guy!
