Red Lobster Sinking To Its Buttery Doom? Depressingly Delicious Deets HERE!

| Filed under: Sad SadBusiness BlitzFoodFishGIFs

red lobster might sell or shutdown restaurant

How's this for irony? Red Lobster, much like the delicious crustaceans it cooks for its customers on a daily basis, is in BOILING hot water!

The world's greatest largest seafood chain might be closing it's doors for good!

Ugh! We wish this were a fish tale, but it's true!

Darden, the parent company that owns Red Lobster, is in the middle of a fiscal meltdown that will apparently require it to either close down all 705 of its iconic restaurants or at least sell/spin them off!

Noo!! This is an unimaginable blow to our hearts bellies!

Even Emma Stone likes lobster (above)!

Darden also owns Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse, but as far as we know those restaurants aren't yet in jeopardy.

If there's one silver lining to this super sad news, it's that…. No, never mind. There is no silver lining. This just sucks.

Walked in there with my boyfriend last week, sat down, looked at the prices, and walked right out. Ridiculously overpriced bullshit, they deserve to be shut down.

since they buy from fisheries that finance baby seal hunts i say SEE YA!

their salads always look like something I would debate eating at home.. like the lettuce is brown and overly cold like it was frozen. They're just bad and the crab tastes like a salt lick.. actually the lobster also is sooo insanely salty it's gross. I do eat there a decent amount due to the man in the house but it's always $70 for bleh.

we had a Red Lobster in our town until one of obama's sons killed the manager and stuffed him in the fridge. Red Lobster closed down the store forever.

I ate at a Red Lobster two times, got sick shortly afterwards both times, and puked up all the food. I will never eat there again.

There's a decent Red Lobster by me. The Atlantic fire grilled lobster is always primo.
The bicuits are always good, and the crab is never dried out, and the staff are attentive.
