At any age, this is NO easy task!
At 54, this is SPECTACULAR!!
Fergie, also known as the Duchess of York, also known as Sarah Ferguson, lost 28 pounds in 90 days after a grueling three months of bootcamp in the Swiss Alps! Honestly, if you're gonna lose weight, we'd say the Swiss Alps is one of the most beautiful places you can do it!
What's even more awesome is that she did it with help from her personal trainer of 20 years, Josh Salzmann. We're glad neither of them gave up on each other, and we wonder what spurred this get-down-to-business mentality!
She was able to stick to a strict diet of blended foods! She also took on daily runs and mountain hikes!
Not EVERYTHING was tough, though — we mentioned the Swiss Alps, but we didn't mention that she was at a 17k euro a week chalet, with a private pool and sauna. They were also accompanied by a TV crew filming for a documentary!
Here's what she said about her journey:
'I went up to the mountains, and I ran every day. That's how I got fit. I may have lost 30lbs, but I want to help combat global obesity. I want to really get into America and support young children who need to be educated about the future.'
So. Freakin'. FAB!!!
We're so proud of her, and we're really really happy she did it the good ol' fashioned way, even if there was nothing usual about the location and the amenities!
Congrats, Fergie! You can keep it up and keep it off! We know it!
