We have some good news and some bad news for Tim Tebow!
The good news is he JUST landed a new job! The bad news is it's NOT as a starting quarterback for a NFL team!
However, it's not all bad because we'll still get to see his lovely mug on TV as he's signed on to become an analyst for ESPN's brand spankin' new SEC Network!! But he's not quite ready to close the door on a chance to become a quarterback!
He confirmed the exciting news on Twitter and wrote:
"I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity. When I was six years old I fell in love with the game of football and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be a part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC."
Tim will be a college football analyst for the SEC Network when it launches in August of 2014, but his first job will be doing the pregame coverage of the BCS Nation Chamionship game between the Auburn Tigers and the Florida State Seminoles on January 6th!
And if a NFL teams comes a knockin' and asks Timmy to play quarterback for them, he's totally free to go!
We can't think of a better job for him right now considering he's a college football icon from his days as a Florida Gator, and ESPN talks about him so much already that's he's pretty much their biggest star!
