Alyssa Milano HIGHlariously accepted Jay Mohr's apology, but that doesn't mean she has to stop talking about it and how it made her feel — because she has every right to!
We're glad she chose to open up to Extra's Mario Lopez and not just dodge the situation.
So here's what she said about it how the uncomfortable comments made her feel:
"Well, he made a comment that was not so nice about my weight and I called him out on Twitter about it. I just think he was trying to make a joke and not think about it. I heard it actually on Christmas Day and it hurt me, I was affected by it and I wanted to remind him that I'm a human being and that this hurts."
It WAS super unnecessary and a low blow!
"I think it's an interesting statement about where we are socially that people feel that they can sort of rip a woman's body apart after having a baby. I don't think it's fair. I gained 55 pounds when I was pregnant, I still have 10 more to lose."
We say it time and time again: mothers have he right to choose when or if and HOW they lose the baby weight! They just went through one of the most difficult experiences on the planet!
Jay Mohr's never gained 55 pounds on his way to pushing a human out of him, just to have to start caring for it immediately! We hope he's learned his lesson — and is able to adapt his new-found look on mothers into his comedy!
Alyssa had Milo with husband David Bugliari back in August 2011, and if she only has 10 more pounds to go… then we think that's perfect and fab and shouldn't be any other way for her! That's how she chose to handle it, so that's just GREAT!
