Getting older is inevitable — it happens every year!
For Michelle Obama, that means that she has to make some changes… especially now that she's turning 50 this week!
And no, we're not talking about going to bed at 7 after a 4:00 dinner or anything! We're talking fitness-wise!
Apparently the First Lady is about to switch it up, and change her workout routine to feature more low-impact things like yoga, instead of the usual heavy cardio stuff!
"I'm seeing myself shift from weight-bearing stuff – even though that continues to be important – and the heavy cardio and running, to things like yoga that will keep me flexible. […] so that I'm not falling and breaking a hip one day."
This is SO SMART!
Even though we don't think she's truly at the age to change everything drastically — especially with the shape she's in — we do think it's a good idea to stay forward-thinking!
Keep up the hard work, Michelle! You're an inspiration!
Now just get Mr. President to do it with you!
