Madonna Hits The Gym Despite Injuring Her Foot!

When Queen Madonna falls down, she doesn't just get back up.

She gets right back to work!!

Earlier this week, we caught wind that the Vogue singer bruised a bone in her foot and would have to use crutches while her boo boo heals!

Well Madonna was spotted out and about in New York, but she wasn't hobbling over to her doctor's office! She was heading straight to the gym!

She posted a pic of herself getting her workout on to Instagram and wrote:

"Inventing a new workout on crutches! Waking up new Neuro transmitters is always fun! #nothingcanstopme"

Wow! She is NOT playing around!!

It's great to see that Madonna is healthy enough to still exercise, although we're also guessing it helps that she's wearing proper workout shoes and not stilettos! LOLz!

    Walking, jogging, stair climbing, kickboxing and group aerobic classes are weight bearing cardio workouts. These should not be performed with a foot injury.
    Workouts that can be performed while treating a foot injury are non-weight bearing cardio workouts, including swimming, rowing machines and cycling. These workouts are continuous and work major muscle groups, thereby providing cardio training benefits. Try deep water running, which is performed by mimicking a running motion under water while using a flotation device to remain in an upright position. Also try arm ergometers, which are bicycles that have arm pedals instead of leg pedals for movement. -Livestrong

    If Madonna had to change up her Grammy performance and did an unplugged after having to hobble onstage with a crutch, it would move and bring the house down if she killed it.
