It looks like Jay Z has one more thing he can add to his list of problems!!
A couple of years ago, Hova became a part owner of the New Jersey Nets and played a huge role in moving the franchise to his hometown in Brooklyn!
Entrepreneur Dr. Francois de Cassagnol claims he was using the title The Brooklyn Nets Entertainment since 2003, long before the team made the move, and he's suing Jay and the league for at least $600 million in damages!
He claims he got into contact with the franchise and they originally assured him they would most likely use the name the New York Nets, however when they announced in 2012 they would become the Brooklyn Nets, he decided to take legal action!
Francois previously filed an appeal to the Patent Office, however they favored in rule of the NBA saying he had filed all of his paperwork AFTER the team announced their move!
Despite the big loss, the businessman is STILL going through with his lawsuit, and it looks like he thinks he has a shot! We guess we'll just have to wait and see how this whole thing goes down!
